Crank Seal Conv XK Engine 1951-1959 Single Ridge HSG 3.4

  • Item #GMB12
  • Categories:

The rear crankshaft seal has long been considered one of the more troublesome areas of the Jaguar XK six-cylinder engine. Early versions were produced without a true rear seal, while later 3.8-liter engines and all 4.2-liter variants relied on an outdated rope-style seal design. These conversion kits replace the original setup with a modern lip seal to provide significantly improved oil control and reduced leakage.

Compatible applications include XK120, XK140, XK150, MK VII, MK VIII, MK IX, MK I, early MK II models and the 3.8-liter E-Type.
